Evans Command Performance (Candy Kane or Kane)

Candy Kane is a very intelligent, gentle pony. He is very astute and spends a lot of time watching the goings-on. We often recommend to buyers the pony and the human share a similar temperament. During PonyPros 3 day evaluation, 13 year old Kae worked with Candy Kane.

Kae is very quiet, verging on shy, though she is really not timid - just spends a lot of time observing. Kae is very gentle, patient, kind, and persistent. She is has boundaries but isn't bossy. Kae is an old soul and quite natural with horses.

Similarly, Kane is a very natural student and as everything started to come together, he really blossomed. Kane is creative and thoughtful and has fun ideas. He liked the ball and tarp but was not pushy or demanding. He did great carrying the bareback pad, then the bareback pad with stirrups, and the Western saddle. He jogged out all across the property and learned the basics of longeing and the Parelli games. He went up and down hills and practiced crossing water and was backed for the first time. Kae rode him on the leadline and he was a very good boy.

Kane is one of the few ponies we have who would not become completely bored with rail classes. He's a phenomenal mover with toe flicking extension and very handsome with 4 knee high stockings and a blaze. He also has great breeding. His sire and dam are both imported - his sire from the U.K. and his dam from Canada.

Kane is likely to be a gentle riding pony who is suitable for hunters, trail riding, dressage, and just fun times at home. He's a great size for riders up to the age of 13.
