Evans Southern Comfort (Cinnamon)
2007, 12'2-12'3h Sec B Welsh gelding (sold)
Jen and Celsiana came to PonyPros to see our program in March 2010. We did not have a pony for them to buy at that time. Jen is a dressage rider and has two horses she raised since birth. They live on acreage in California. Celsiana wanted a pony who would lay down. She was inclined to get a boy pony rather than a girl, and liked more classic colors like chestnut. Jen and Cels picked Cinnamon off of the Evans website. We told them he would be a good fit as he was a little taller than some of the others and his sire has a playful personality. Jen paid a hauler to bring him from the Evans farm to us in May. Cinnamon learned to lay down his first day at PonyPros! Before going home in August, he was riding wtc, trail riding, and doing trot a course with an 11 year old rider.
Here's what Jen said when Cinnamon arrived at his new home:
"We absolutely love him. You're right, he's such an angel. He was very calm when he arrived. He was a perfect gentleman, even when Cels struggled to put his halter on. e went right through his repertoire of tricks flawlessly with a lay down and sit at the end. I'm going to do my best to continue his excellent training, you and the girls have done an amazing job. Will you please extend our gratitude to the girls that have helped with Cin. Thanks again Kali, you have made finding the perfect pony a fun and rewarding experience for us, Jen."
