Evans Lilwen (sold)

Lilwen has been purchased by a family in Hawaii. She will be with us for 6 months training before going home. Marcella currently has a 3 year old horse who is in training. Lilwen will be bred and will be ridden by Marcella's 5-year-old daughter.
"I'm so excited to hear about her progress. We've just started B into horse lessons with a gal that does Natural Horsemanship here in Kauai. I think in a month or so as B gets settled into her lessons, I'll try and synch up between the games you are playing with Lily so we'll all be on the same page so to speak. Thank you for the video!!! From Lilwen's initial evauation:
Lilwen is a very sweet and gentle mare. PonyPros evaluated her during our field trip to Evans Welsh. 13 year old Katelynn partnered with Lilwen for the trip. Katelynn and Lilwen really hit it off. Lilwen learned the 7 games and was backed by Katelynn for a short ride. Lily was super calm about carrying the tarp and a bareback pad with stirrups, and crossing hills and water.
We find that students and horses bond strongly when they have a similar temperament. Katelynn and Lilwen are both thinkers. They are both calm and stand their ground, but mostly just like to get along. Katelynn is a very good student and so is Lilwen.
Lilwen is a beautiful mover and will look great carrying a rider up to 13, or an adult woman of up to 5'5 or so in height. Lilwen is just a little on the pokey side and is should be a nice calm mount.
