Evans Cedron - 2008, 11'2-11'3h, Sec B Welsh gelding, $2500 Cedron is very sweet and cuddly. He loves people and is going to be a great family pony. Cedron is 3 years old and will be a nice size for kids up to the age of 12. Cedron has great breeding and is a very handsome guy. Could also be a matched CDE pair with Dyllis.

Blue-Eyed Buccaneer (Blue Man) - 2003, 12'1 1/2h, Sec A Welsh gelding, $2500 Blue Man is charming and fun. He has a big play drive but is also kindhearted and mellow. Blue loves to push the ball and is great playing the games with young kids. Blue is respectful but also has a good sense of humor. He's very handsome, a lot of fun to be around, and though he is aware, he is not spooky. He's very talented and is a nice all around English pony.

Evans Sion - 2007, 12'1 1/2h, Sec B Welsh gelding, $2500 Sion is a fun-loving chestnut gelding who loves to play. He is substantially built and is a great size for riders up to 13. Sion is 3 years old and lightly started. He has a great sense of humor and loves to do tricks. Sion's brother grew late, so Sion may mature 12'2-13h.

Evans Thistle Isle - 1999, Approx. 12-12'2h Sec A Welsh mare $2500 Thistle Isle is a wonderful, kind-hearted pony. She is almost bombproof and great for longeline lessons. She likes trail riding and is awesome over fences. She easily jumps 2'6 riding bareback. Thistle stands still and calm for someone to stand on her back and loves to play with tarps, balls, and other obstacles, and is great at liberty. Thistle is a nice size for kids ages 5-14. Evans El Tigre (Tiger)-11'2-12h, 2007 gelding, $2500 Tiger is clever and witty and loves to play. He is a gorgeous mover with 4 high stockings, a blaze, a couple belly spots, and a gleaming palomino coat. His color and movement make him unforgettable. Tiger is sensible and likes to get out and about. He will make a very fancy child's pony or driving pony. Tiger could also be a matched CDE pair with Conaire. Evaluated by PonyPros June 2010.

Evans Conaire (Conner)- 11'3-12'1h, 2007 gelding, $2500 This is a golden colt with a golden pedigree. Conner has an incredible flat kneed trot with lovely extension and his canter is even better. This beautiful boy is the product of a import to import pedigree which includes the best of the Welsh World today. He has a very exotic head, elegant neck, laid back shoulder, and is a true gentleman to handle. Conner was evaluated by PonyPros June 2010. He was wonderful with 8 year old Zoey and is a very fast learner. He's obedient, quiet, intelligent, willing, and sweet. Conner will be an awesome family pony. Evans Caron - 2007, 11'2-12h, Sec B Welsh mare, $2500 (sale pending) Caron is a very sweet, calm, affectionate mare. Like her half brother, Peanut, Caron is great with kids, but Caron has the added bonus of a motherly nature. Caron is the kind of pony you could lead three kids around on and she'd take care of every one. She loves everything girly like having flowers in her mane and pony spa days. We colt started Caron on our field trip to Evans Welsh and she was an absolute gem. Caron is Welsh for "to love," and Caron is certainly ready to shower a family of her own with affection. She reminds us of Nanna from Disney's Peter Pan.

Neverland's Golden Lace Kiarra - 12h, 2007 Sec B Welsh mare, $3500 Kiarra has had kids sitting on her and had done a little leadline. She clips, loads, and ties and knows how to turn and stop with the bridle. Kiarra loves children and is so feminine - a real palomino Princess Pony! Lovely movement and totally in your pocket. Almond - 2003, 12.1h, Sec B Welsh mare, $2500 Almond is another awesome Evans bred pony. She came to PonyPros for an evaluation March 21st, 2010 to see what sort of a tune-up she needed after a year off to have a foal. Her foal is gorgeous and she was a great mom. Almond will be a great pony for pleasure or shows.

Angel-12'1 3/4h, 2002 mare, registered POA, $3000 Angel is a gorgeous top of the line small. She has a big build that will not be quickly outgrown but is elegant with fine bone. Angel has been shown both in leadline and in English and Western rail classes. She is great with kids but is due for a tune up with the trainer. Friar's Sunday Best (Sundae) - 2004, Approx. 12h, Sec A Welsh gelding, $2500 Sundae is quiet and affectionate. He is almost all white and has nice conformation. He is built stout and will look great carrying a rider up to the age of 12. Sundae is a cute jumper and will be a fun, willing family pony. He is currently in training and coming along nicely..

Evans Command Performance (Candy Kane)- 12'2-13h, 2007 Sec B Welsh gelding, $2500 Kane has a beautiful topline, knee-high stockings on all four feet, a blaze, and a wonderful creamy caramel color. He also has pretty white flecks along his legs. Kane is very attentive and intuitive. He is a thinker and should be very good for shows or trails. Kane is has unbelievable movement that would shock dressage lovers. He would be a fun pony for a family to bring along for a child around the age of 7 or 8 to later develop into a performance pony. Kane is a nice size for riders up to the age of 13. Evaluated June 2010.

Evans Promised Land (Landy)- 13-13'2h, 2007 Sec B Welsh gelding, $2500 Landy is a gorgeous gelding. He has a wonderful temperament and steady disposition. Landy loves people and is very calm. He is a bit on the lazy side but will make a great pony for kids ages 5-13. Landy has outstanding conformation and is big bodied. He could go English or Western and would be great for natural hacking, 4H, or casual trail riding. He's very handsome and friendly. Evaluated by PonyPros June 2010.

Evans Lilywen (Lily)- 12'3-13'1, 2007 Sec B Welsh mare, $2500 Lilywen is sweet, gentle, and quiet. She loves people and is not hot. Lily likes to be groomed and loved on. She is started on the 7 games and was very good about being introduced to the saddle. Lily has been backed 1 time and is ready to learn more. She should make a very calm and sweet pony for riders up to the age of 13. Evaluated by PonyPros June 2010.

Evans Elan (Dazzle)- 13'2h, 2007 Sec B Welsh mare, $2500 Dazzle is a great all around type pony. PonyPros evaluated her June 2010 at Evans Welsh and her 11 year old student partner was begging to take Dazzle home with her! Dazzle shows natural talent for neck reining, is a pretty mover, and has great stamina, but is generally quiet and confident and likes to get out and have a look around. Dazzle is a great big pony mare who is currently about 13'2 but may continue growing.

Ten Pine Ziggy- 13-13'1h, 2003 Sec B Welsh mare, $2500 Ziggy is sweet and gentle. She is riding walk/trot and is very light and obedient. Ziggy has a beautiful topline, a free-swinging walk, and a smooth jog. She will be great for almost any discipline, including Western Pleasure, dressage, and hunters. Evans Poster Child (Daffodil/Dilly)- 13-13'2h, 2007 Sec B Welsh mare, $2500 Daffodil is a beautiful mare with nice straight legs and good height. She has a lot of presence and an Arabian-like sensitivity and alertness. At the same time, she is very willing and obedient. She bonds strongly with a confident child and is a very fast learner. Dilly is a kind and wiling mare and will be a nice size for kids up to the age of 14. Evaluated by PonyPros June 2010.

Witch Wood Trivial Pursuit- 13'2h, 2005 Welsh/Pinto gelding, $6500 Ponies do not get any better than this! Percy is the ideal pony. He is quiet, obedient, easy, and fun. He goes right into the canter from a walk and canters slowly and calmly, perfect for a child. He goes English and Western and is great on the trail. Percy is absolutely stunning to watch. He is new to jumping but is trustworthy and calm - would be a great confidence builder. Percy is started on his flying changes and gets them most of the time. He is great about hauling to new places and is a good show pony. Percy is VERY good with kids and beginners. He is a lovely, lovely gelding, well worth the price.

Witch Wood Twister- 13h, 2005 Welsh/Pinto mare, $3000 Twister is a year younger than Percy and shaping up to be just as irreplaceable. Twister is very quiet with a steady-eddie personality. She is smooth to ride and a great confidence builder for a child who is afraid of going fast. At the same time, Twister is gorgeous, big bodied, and looks and moves like a mini-Warmblood. Currently Twister is trained for trotting crossrails and is ready for more advanced work any time. Twister does great with new situations and is a people pleaser. She loves to be pampered and bonds strongly.

Jazz - 13'1 1/2h, 2001, Registered POA mare, $3000 Jazz has lots of show experience with youth riders. She goes Western or English and plays the Parelli Games. Jazz has a steady eddie type personality but is light on the aids. She has a good mind for gaming and is quick, but is also a nice rail horse with a good sidepass. Evans Steffan (Steffan or Stevie)- 13'1-14h, reg. Welsh/QH cross, 2008 gelding Steffan is a truly unforgettable pony. He is one of those animals that once you touch, you feel like you have a deep connection. Stevie has a huge heart and absolutely loves people. He will bond extremely strongly and go to the ends of the earth for his person. Steffan has gorgeous conformation and coloring. He's built stout with good flat bone and will do well carrying a child or full sized adult woman. Steffan is a true gentleman. He reminds us of Cary Grant. Steffan is athletic, but calm and quiet. He's very patient and literally fell asleep with his head in my hands after his first ride. He is a 1 in a million kind of pony. Evaluated by PonyPros June 2010.

Linus - 14'1 1/2h, 8yo, Registered ACWHA Cremello gelding, $5000 Linus is a love and a pocket-pony. Mr. Personality type, very special. Loves to jump and has done small courses with an 8 year-old rider. Too spunky for complete beginners but is a great h/j pony for an advanced beginner/intermediate rider. Morton's the Celebrity (sold) - 2001, 12.1 3/4h, Sec B Welsh, $6500 Celeb is so gentle that he was started undersaddle by a 14 year old. This gelding is an extremely fancy top of the line small with lovely movement. He has a great walk, trot, and canter, and is schooling small courses. Ready to start work on changes. Celebrity is also beautiful dressage pony and is great on the trails. This summer, he helped an adult beginner get her first experiences trail riding. Celeb is very quiet with excellent manners and a sweet, loving disposition. He's your typical nice gelding.

Crossrail On the Mark (sold) - 1995, 12-12'2h, Sec B Welsh, $2500 Markey is full of character and very fun. He is quiet and knows his job but still has a spring in his step. Markey is fun pony for a child to ride because he will take it slow and happily stay at a walk, given the choice, but isn't lazy at the trot or canter. Markey takes his leads and has had quite a bit of show experience. He is a real ham for attention and LOVES people. Markey is 14 and will easily take 3 more kids through short stirrup, 4H, or pony club. We think Markey would love a home where he would be the center of attention.

Vanity's Bonfyre (sold) - 12'1h, 2006 Sec B Welsh gelding, $3500 Peanut is riding wtc and cantering small fences with 8 and 10 year old riders. He is doing full courses at the trot. He will do a 9-pole/cross rail course going into all his corners and staying nice and straight through the lines. (We're keeping the jumps small enough he can step over them because of his age.) Peanut lays down on cue and also does the Spanish Walk. He is very smooth to ride and is great bareback in the arena. Peanut is awesome on the trail! He goes out bareback in a halter and had a nice, easy time. Peanut is a medium spirit LBE so he is generally playful, attentive, and fancy. Still, he is very safe and very kind. Peanut and his lease student go everywhere at a trot, even from the arena to the stall. Peanut plays easily at Parelli L2/3 with his 10 year old lease student, including jumping a single barrel from a standstill and sidepassing just about anything. Peanut has a gleaming coat 365 days/year.

Evans Warwick (sold) - 11'3h, 2006 Sec B Welsh gelding, $3500 Wallie is riding wtc and cantering fences with 8 and 10 year old riders. (We're keeping the jumps small enough he can step over them because of his age.) Wallie is rhythmic and consistent with a very easy canter. He's got a great eye for distance and is a natural for h/j. Wallie loves attention and has a great sense of humor. He loves to pick things up and has several cute tricks including laying down on cue, standing on a pedestal, and bowing. Wallie is very cuddly and soft-hearted. He is a low to medium spirit LBI and has a very centering nature. Wallie loves treats (so is easy to train) and has beautiful hunter gaits. Wallie plays easily at Parelli L2/3 with his 8 year old lease student, including jumping a single barrel from a standstill and sidepassing just about anything. Wallie is very smart, loving, and a joy to be around.

Evans the Late Child (sold)-12'1h, 2003 mare Chili is a great child's pony. She is the perfect size, has balanced "go" and "whoa," and is incredibly sweet. She loves to stand and have her faced stroked. She is also quirky and fun when you get her going. Chili comes from a long line of child's ponies who know how to keep a child safe and grow with the child. We have ridden Chili up and down hills, through water, and jumped ditches. She's very willing and seems like to like the adventure. Chili is fancy enough to be a small pony hunter, pony club mount, or dressage pony, and has the temperament to take care of a young rider.

Annie Cat (sold)-11'2h, 1999 mare, $2500 Annie Cat is a half sister to 6 year old Nina, who just sold as a wonderful pony for 4 and 5 year old children. Annie Cat is a registered Section A Welsh Mountain Pony with gorgeous strawberry sabino coloring. Like Nina, Annie Cat is proving herself to be a great kid's pony. She's had extensive training, including bridleless riding, and is quiet and easy going, but still responsive. She is athletic, but very balanced and easy to ride. Sec A Welshes this size are great for kids even as old as 13. They are stout enough that they take up the leg as much as a 13h Sec B, and young rider's love them because they're so easy to tack up! Dusty (sold)-11h, 1999 gelding Dusty is a light, responsive, forward moving pony. He lunges nicely and has an easy riding ambling gait in between trotting and walking, which is a great confidence builder for kids. He is easy to steer, has a good stop, backs easily, and has excellent ground manners. Kids can tack him up by themselves without tying him. He is a step up from a leadline pony, but still a good first or second pony. Dusty is great for gaming and jumping for eager kids ages 5 and up.

Sabino Lace (sold)-11'1 1/2h, 6 yo mare Nina is an absolutely exquisite pony, though very hard to photograph. Her beautiful, wide blaze fades out into a strawberry coat, like white lace worn by a red headed bride. She has knee high stockings that make you think of Shirley Temple and the most precious face you've ever seen. She looks like a pony a princess would ride. Nina is currently in professional training.

Ten Pine Lacey's Golden Dream (sold)- 2 yo mare, will mature 12'1h Gilly is from a long line of dream family ponies. We have had six of her siblings and all have been the absolute perfect ponies. They are quiet, have slightly more whoa than go, and are smooth as silk to ride. They travel straight, stepping through their wide shoulders beautifully, with a naturally round topline and low head carriage. They are adorable over jumps and great on the trail. These beautiful little palomino ponies are wonderfully bombproof and affectionate. They are some of the only ponies that can be shared between a whole family, including mom and the toddler, and will love all the children the same. You absolutely cannot go wrong with a Sanaltas High Caliber x Sanalta Golden Lace pony.

Beau Jangles (sold) - 12h, 2003 Sec A Welsh gelding, $3500 Beau is going over fences with youth riders and doing very well. He's Mr. Personality. Very ponyish and lots of fun. Beau has an adorable wide Welsh forehead, big eyes, and tiny ears. Beau is still a little green as he is only 6, so he is priced accordingly. He is eagerly waiting a young rider of his very own. Beau is also available for an in-barn lease.

Polecat "Billy" (sold) - 12'2h, 2003 Sec B Welsh gelding $5000 Billy is a well trained, child-ready gelding. He has many blues to his name and is a wonderful small pony hunter. Billy has great form over fences and is a fun mount for a child rider. He is also very gentle and kindhearted with kids on the ground and plays the Parelli games.

Pendock Leading Lady (sold)- 7 year old imported mare Grand Champion several times over in leading rein and halter. Registered Section A Welsh. Lady has a wonderful temperament and huge flat-kneed movement. Her classic, dapple grey hunter coat makes her an eye-catcher in any ring. This pony is bred to win and has proven herself several times over. Huge investment prospect.

Evans Lady Marmalade (sold)-12'2h, 2002 mare, $4500 Marmalade is the world's best kid's pony. She is safe, gorgeous, and so fun for the children to ride! Marmalade will walk, jog, and lope with children as young as 4-6. She would be a great addition to any family looking for a show pony or an all around family pony. Marmalade loves attention and has wonderful safe ground manners. Children can even load her in a trailer by themselves. Marmalade is very respectful of the little ones learning how to put on halters, bridles, and saddles. She trail rides and does equally well in the arena. Marmalade rides on a loose rein and is light on the aids. She is also safe and quiet for the leadliners. Marmalade is a full sister to several competitive h/j show ponies and shows great potential at jumping and dressage. She is ridden primarily Western Pleasure by her current owners and is fancy enough to compete against the big horses.

Darby (sold)- 2 yo gelding, will mature 13h, $2500 (Bristol Victorio x Elizan Brocade by *Heniarth Neon) This gelding is exceptional in even the most elite company. Brocade, Darby's dam, is a lovely mare with the sought after "imported" look - that clean elegance, which is such a pretty attribute of the Cottrell lines. Like the best of the Victorio get, Darby has a lovely topline. He drives from behind and has wonderful extension. Darby is a fancy, fancy medium pony hunter prospect with a typey head, sensible temperament, daisy cutter movement, and beautiful markings.

Katie- 13h, 2000 mare, $1500 Katie is green yet but she's honest and has a great temperament. She is light on the aids with a smooth, easy-sitting jog and a pretty hunter trot. Katie has a refined head and a feminine build. She is going walk, jog/trot, lope/canter, and rides well indoors or out. She has excellent ground manners and is ready for a child rider if the parents are knowledgeable. PonyPros says this one is a steal at $1500. |

Armand (sold)- 2 yo gelding, will mature 13h, $2500 Armand is the archetypal sport pony. He has the bone cross country riders dream of, dressage movement rarely seen even in imported Warmbloods, and the temperament and athleticism to make him unbeatable in stadium jumping. Armand is a very agreeable pony who would do well with most any family. We see him being a barn favorite and taking a whole gaggle of children through the ranks of Pony Club.

Marley (sold) - 2004 gelding, 14h, Marley is devastatingly handsome and a total joy to be around. He is great with kids of all ages and will do everything from teach your young rider to post to start them cantering courses. Marley is a truly unique pony. He has a puppy-dog personality and is just a hair on the lazy side, but will ride all day and is athletic and fun. Marley has done lots of kids lessons and will have your little rider off the lunge and riding independently in just a few days. At the same time, Marley is an outstanding dressage mount and can jump the moon.

Flame (sold)- 14h, 16 yo, unreg. Quarter Pony mare, $1750 Flame is well trained and a wonderful Western or English Pleasure horse. She was leased to a 7 year old for the summer. The 7 year old's granddad also used her for elk and deer hunting in the fall and she did great. Flame has a really smooth jog and is a very kind girl. She is submissive in the herd but gets along well with other horses. Flame is just a great, no non-sense family mount.
